My last two classes, which I had hosted at Maes Tearoom & Deli, were ‘How to find your Style’ and ‘Colour for your Home’. Both classes had an excellent turn out and the events were full of design discussions and fun moodboard creations.
The ‘How to find your Style’ workshop provided a variety of design styles for people to use as inspiration, taking these ideas we set to creating individual moodboards.
We had a mixture of styles in the group from vintage bedroom schemes to modern kitchen designs and I finding it so interesting to see how varied everyone’s individual styles are, making us unique and showing our personalities within our Interior Spaces.
On the ‘Colour for your Home’ workshop, I asked the group to choose an inspiring image and pick out the colours from this, seeing what colours are used to make the image and we then discussed how to use the palette within their chosen rooms. Here are some examples of the colour moodboards that were created.
I was super excited to head down to the decorfest this weekend to collect design ideas to bring back to Yorkshire with me. More on that soon..
